Born in Lleida in 1973‚ he graduated in Fine Arts in the University of Barcelona, specialising in Image. During that period he became interested in graphic photography and combined his studies with work as a photographer for the newspaper Segre.

He produced some stories as a freelance before co-founding in 1997 the Zoom news agency, where he worked as a photographer and as head of photography and published his work in various national media outlets.

He left Zoom in 2000 (although he still occasionally works for it) to devote himself to teaching artistic photography in Lleida Art School and lead workshops on documentary, artistic and digital photography.

During this period he has undertaken personal projects in the artistic domain in which he examines man’s relationship with nature and his setting, treating it from a physical viewpoint (“Radiographies”, “Frontiers”, “For the Garden of Eve”), a metaphysical viewpoint (“For all the documents”) and even a virtual viewpoint (“New geographies”). As a photographer, he is fully aware of the current role of photography and the image in society and he uses his projects to investigate and experiment with the medium’s uses and processes, transgressing and exploiting the possibilities that it can offer.
